Article Contribution
Here are a few simple and important guidelines for submitting article (your work) to ChocolateCity.cc:
ChocolateCity.cc does not subscribe to or favor any particular ideological views. Whether you are Republican, Democrats, Green, Tea, Christian, Muslim, gay, lesbian, or in-between, it really doesn’t matter to us.
We scan all articles using a proprietary system. If your article does not meet the following writing requirements it will not be publish. The # 1 reason for not publishing an article is poor grammar. We recommend that you proof read and double check your grammar (i.e., edit your article, and make the necessary corrections before submitting to ChocolateCity.cc).
By writing and submitting articles to ChocolateCity.cc you are signifying that you have read and agreed to the following points below:
1. No racist or hate material, neo-Nazis, terrorist, profanity, vulgarity, sexually explicit or pornographic material, anything related to age restricted products (alcohol, firearms, etc.), or anything that ChocolateCity.cc in its sole discretion deems to be inappropriate for publication or distribution on ChocolateCity.cc.
2. Exclusive ownership. You agree and represent that you solely own all the copyrights to material submitted to ChocolateCity.cc.
3. Exclusive distribution rights. Article content that you submit to ChocolateCity.cc must be original, previously unpublished, and written by you exclusively for ChocolateCity.cc.
4. Self-enforcement. Enforcement of your copyright and other rights is up to you and not ChocolateCity.cc. ChocolateCity.cc is not obligated in any way to take any action to enforce your rights.
5. No ads, advertising, sales letters, or affiliate links, should be included in your submitted article. To place an ad, editorial review or book review, please see our advertising page.
6. The submission cannot contain any HTML except for links, bold, underline, italics, block-quoting, line breaks, headers, and list tags. Images and JavaScript are not allowed. (No advertising!)
7. Articles must be written in proper English and must use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization. Always double check your work thoroughly before submitting.
8. Avoid excessive hyphens, asterisks, etc. (use only the absolute necessary text, characters and punctuation).
9. Articles must be a minimum of 400 words in length.
10. Articles should be informative in nature, and any facts presented should generally be checked for accuracy (follow due diligence).
11. Articles must not be written in first person (i.e., I, me, my, we).
12. Your article title should do an accurate job of describing the "ultimate benefit" of your article content and should ideally include one or more "keywords" related to the topic of your article.
13. ChocolateCity.cc Publication Rights. ChocolateCity.cc has the sole discretion as to whether content you submit is published on ChocolateCity.cc, where it is published, how it is categorized, and how long it is published. If your article doesn't satisfy the ChocolateCity.cc Article Writing Requirements, we reserve the right to edit your article such that it satisfies our requirements.
If you’re still with us, go ahead and e-mail your article and a brief bio of yourself including your website, and photo (if you want to include it in your work). Also, please include the word “Article Submission” in the subject of your e-mail. All submissions should be addressed to the editor: editor [at] chocolatecity [dot] cc
