The Montgomery Police Department (MPD) announced via Facebook, it now has two suspects in custody and charged each with two counts of capital murder. The two men were allegedly involved in the shooting deaths of emerging rapper, Glenn Thomas, aka Doe B, 22-year-old and his female friend, Kimberle Johnson, 21-year-old. Johnson, a student at Troy University, was at the club celebrating her birthday.
Darius Thomas, 25-year-old, was charged with two counts of capital murder. He reportedly turned himself in to MPD detectives on Wednesday, January 2. Earlier during the week, another suspect, Jason Quan McWilliams, 25-year-old, also turned himself in to police.
Both suspects are Montgomery residents. They are being held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Facility. MPD did not provide a motive for the shootings.
