The Cleveland Cavaliers have suspended its center, Andrew Bynum, indefinitely for "conduct detrimental to the team," according to Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant.

Bynum, 26-year-old, 7' 0'', did not travel with the team to Boston last night for the team’s Saturday game vs. the Celtics. He was also excused from all team activities indefinitely. His status will be updated as appropriate.

Cleveland signed Bynum to a two-year, $24.5 million contract this summer despite the former All-Star center missing the entire 2012-13 season with knee injuries. If he is waived by January 7, only $6 million of his deal is guaranteed.
