Gunfight broke out during an album release party at a Chicago nightclub, G's Entertainment Center, located at 1547 West 87th Street in Chicago. Seven people were reportedly shot and hospitalized during the early hours of Thursday morning. The release party was being held for local Chicago rappers  – Nino, Lil' Mouse and King Samson.

According to a Chicago police spokesperson, Hector Alfaro, all seven were listed in stable condition. “A fight broke out, and three men pulled out weapons and started firing,” Alfaro said.

Hundreds of people were inside the club when a chair was thrown and a security guard heard shots. The crowd panicked and people started running from the club, he said. The shooting appeared to be gang related, but it wasn't clear what led to the fight and shooting, Alfaro added.
