Mitt Romney – Campaign was superb, we lost because of Obama gifts to Blacks, Latinos and Young Voters

Mitt Romney says his campaign was superb, he lost because of Obama’s gifts to Blacks, Latinos and Young Voters.

It appears that Mitt Romney, the Republican presidential candidate who recently got an "ass-whooping” from President Barack Obama is back to his old tricks – Mitt is saying one thing in public and another behind closed doors.

According to The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times, Mitt told a group of donors on Monday that he believed his campaign was ‘superb,’ but they lost because of President Obama’s ‘gifts’ to African-Americans, Latinos and young voters, including health insurance and help with college loans, “amnesty” for children of undocumented immigrants and free contraception.

"In each case they were very generous in what they gave to those groups," Romney said, according to The New York Times. "With regards to the young people, for instance, a forgiveness of college loan interest was a big gift," Romney said.

"Free contraceptives were very big with young college-aged women," he continued. "And then, finally, Obamacare also made a difference for them, because as you know anybody now 26 years of age and younger was now going to be part of their parents' plan, and that was a big gift to young people. They turned out in large numbers, a larger share in this election even than in 2008."

The president's health care reform plan, he added, also turned out support from African Americans and Hispanic voters.

"You can imagine for somebody making $25,000 or $30,000 or $35,000 a year, being told you're now going to get free health care, particularly if you don't have it, getting free health care worth, what, $10,000 per family, in perpetuity, I mean, this is huge," he said. "Likewise with Hispanic voters, free healthcare was a big plus. But in addition with regards to Hispanic voters, the amnesty for children of illegals, the so-called Dream Act kids, was a huge plus for that voting group."

Meanwhile, during a recent interview on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight," former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum said, “What Mitt Romney, in my opinion, didn’t do was go out and vigorously defend the beliefs that he said he espoused and didn’t go on the offense,” Santorum also added, “And when you’re playing defense, which is what I believe the campaign was doing and Republicans were doing generally throughout the course of this campaign you’re not going to win.”

So, what has Romney’s defeat got to do with President Barack Obama?

Americans are not stupid! They know that only Mitt and his Fox’s surrogates believed that his campaign was ‘superb’. And, no, he did not lose because President Obama give ‘gifts’ to African-Americans, Latinos or young voters. Romney lost because he and his angry white GOP'ers refused to accept the fact that America is no longer the America of their forefathers. Romney lost because of the lies told by he and his vice- presidential candidate Paul Ryan. Romney lost because of his hate-spewing surrogates adding benzene to an already out of control fire. John Sununu, Donald Trump and a host of radio talk-show hosts preached 'anti-Black', 'anti-LGBT', 'anti-women', and 'anti-immigrant' messages to Romney's detriment.

Romney’s lost was a disgrace to him, his team and the Republican Party. He lost Massachusetts where he was governor; Michigan, his place of birth and a state where his father was governor; California, a state where he owns a house with a car elevator; and Wisconsin, the home state of Paul Ryan, his vice-presidential candidate. To paraphrase former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, “Don't blame President Barack Obama, don’t blame black folks or Latinos, if you didn’t win, blame your damn self.
