
Stevie Wonder filed for divorce from wife Kai Millard Morris
After being married for more nearly eleven years, Stevie Wonder filed for divorce from his wife Kai Millard Morris. Born Stevland Hardaway Judkins on May 13, 1950, he later changed his name to Stevland Hardaway Morris and than to Stevie Wonder.
This will be Wonder's second divorce; he was previously married to Syreeta Wright from 1970 -1972. Wonder who is 62-year-old has 7 children – Aisha Morris, Kailand Morris, Keita Morris, Kwame Morris, Mumtaz Morris, Mandla Kadjay Carl Stevland Morris and Sophia Morris.
He is one of the most prolific artists in music history, with 30 top 10 hits, 11 number one pop singles, and 19 Grammys, including a Lifetime Achievement Grammy he received in 1996. His contribution to worldwide social and political change is just as impressive, having championed the effort to make Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday a national holiday, as well as becoming a driving force behind 1985’s USA For Africa campaign.
