R&B Singer Lauryn Hill Faces Federal Tax Evasion
The Associated Press is reporting that Lauryn Hill, 37-year-old, pleaded guilty in a New Jersey courtroom on Friday to evading federal taxes on $1.8 million earned between 2005 and 2007.
The talented R&B singer faces a maximum one-year sentence for each of the three counts.
Meanwhile, during the recent BET Awards, Beyonce was angered by one of the members of the group Mindless Behavior group when he said to Comedian Mike Epps, "You sing BAD … like Lauryn Hill's tax accountant bad."
