If George Lucas’ movie, Red Tails, does not do well, there is a very strong possibility that you might never see another all-black movie anytime soon.
George Lucas’ movie, Red Tails, which is on the list of 2012’s most anticipated movies is expected to be released on January 20, 2012.
According to Red Tails’ executive producer,George Lucas, the all-Black cast movie has been held upRed Tails is an epic movie based on the exploits and accomplishments of the famed World War II military aviators – The Tuskegee Airmen. The Tuskegee Airmen were a crew of African American pilots in the Tuskegee training program. Having faced segregation while kept mostly on the ground during World War II, they were called into duty under the guidance of Col. A.J. Bullard.
Starring in the movie are Cuba Gooding, Jr., Terrence Howard, David Oyelowo, Nate Parker and R&B singer Ne-Yo. If Red Tails does not do well, there is a very strong possibility that you might never see another all-black movie during your life time.
