Free Workshop: How to Grow Your Business Online Using Google and Social Media.
The goal of this FREE workshop is to expose the attendees to industry techniques and tricks to increasing their website visibility on the Internet while utilizing WordPress, Google, Yahoo, Bing and Social Media Marketing.
This workshop will also briefly introduce attendees to the different types of business structures (Sole Proprietorship, Corporation, Partnerships, Limited Liability Company and L3C).
Upon completion of the workshop, attendees should be able to:
- Differentiate between the types of businesses
- Differentiate between the types of E-Commerce
- Demonstrate an understanding of WordPress
- An overview of WordPress’ download, installation and upgrade process
- Acquire an overview of Open Source applications
- Select a web hosting package
- Acquire an overview of WinSCP (a FTP application)
- Use WordPress plugins and themes
- Learn about the 10 “MUST HAVE” WordPress plugins
- Demonstrate knowledge in the use of WordPress in creating a “Post” and “Page”
- Understand Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and how to increase site traffic
- Differentiate between the types of Social Media tools
- An overview Google’s Analytic and other webmaster tools.
