Lil Wayne sets Guinness World Record with Tha Carter IV
Lil Wayne, 29-year-old, whose real-name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. has done it again! This time, he entered the Guinness World Records for the most rap singles to appear on the Hot 100 charts in the United States.
The entrepreneur and hip-hop artist has four songs that are dominating the Airwave and blowing out every local Billboard charts – "How to Love," "She Will," "Mirror" and "Blunt Blowin". Thanks to his latest album “Tha Carter IV” which was released on August 29.
Tha Carter IV sold more than 300,000 downloads in its first four days. Wayne outsold and dethroned the collaborative album, “Watch the Throne,” by Jay-Z and Kanye West.
Weezy, as he is affectionately called, first made it into the Guinness World Records during the earlier part of the year when he garnered Facebook most amount of “LIKE”s in a single day. He got 588,243 followers to surpass that of Oreo cookie.
