African Festival of the Arts Friday’s closing arts include Chico DeBarge
In addition to its already extensive lineup of superb performers, The African Festival of the Arts has added Chico DeBarge to its Friday, September 2nd closing.
The 22nd African Festival of the Arts Festival takes place throughout the Labor Day Weekend, September 2-5, 2011 in Chicago’s Washington Park. This world-class destination for family fun event is the largest neighborhood festival in Chicago boasting more than 300,000 attendees.
The Festival opens on Friday night with Al B Sure, Christopher Williams, Jon B and Zzaje.
Bootsy Collins (Parliament Funkadelic) has joined and will be the headliner for Saturday.
Kefee and India Arie will be closing out the Festival with performances on September 5th, Monday night – Labor Day.
