Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns after 16 months to fight Victor Ortiz in September

Floyd Mayweather Jr., 34-year-old, also know as Money and Pretty Boy recently did an interview with ESPN’s Brian Kenny.

During the interview, Mayweather talked about his upcoming September 17 bout with Victor Ortiz to be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He briefly addressed the defamation suit filed by Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather is alleged to have accused Pacquiao of taking steroids.

During Kenny's questioning, Mayweather dance around most of the questions including the issue of a pending domestic battery lawsuit in which he allegedly assaulted an ex-girlfriend in last September.

The undefeated boxer is a five-division world champion, and has won ten world titles, including the lineal championship in two different weight classes. Widely considered as one of the best pound for pound fighters, Mayweather has only fought four fights in the last four years. He retired once and is known to take long breaks away from the sport.

Mayweather fought against Shane Mosley on May 1st, 2010 and won via unanimous decision. Before the Mosley fight, he fought Juan Manuel Marquez in September 2009 after taking 21 months off from the sport. Prior to the Marquez fight, Mayweather last fought Ricky Hatton in December 2007 and won by a TKO in the 10th round.
