Jurors in the trial of former Illinois Governor Rod R. Blagojevich, 54-year-old, have reached a verdict. The jurors reached an 18 of 20 criminal counts against Mr. Blagojevich, but were deadlocked on two counts.
Blagojevich is accused of trying to benefit personally from his selection of a replacement for the United States senate seat once held by President Barack Obama. The verdict is expected to be read between 1pm and 2pm CST.
Blagojevich has arrived at the court. A helicopter flew overhead following his jeep as he headed to court in downtown Chicago.
