Preaching at the Sunday service of the New Millennium Church in Little Rock, Arkansan, Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright, the former pastor of President Barack Obama referred to those who wrongly believe that President Obama is a Muslim as "psychopaths".

Rev. Wright, the retired pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ also criticized supporters of the Iraq war and defended former state Court of Appeals Judge Wendell Griffen for speaking out against it. Griffen is the pastor of the New Millennium Church.

A recent poll conduction by the Pew Research Center found that about 18 percent of White American wrongly thinks the president is a Muslim. It is said that, “If you tell a lie enough and keep repeating it, psychopaths will eventually come to believe it”. Some political experts believe this is a so-called political strategy or lack of by the president's opponents.

President Obama cut ties with Rev. Wright in 2008, after Wright was “Shirley Sherrod“.
