Iron Mike Tyson, the former heavy weight world boxing champion
When asked by Gridlock of ESPN Radio in Las Vegas if he ever thought the comedy, which also starred Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha, was going to be such a success, Tyson responded, "I was doing that to supply my drug habit."
“I said, ‘Wow, This is going to be really good," The athlete went on. "We’re going to sell this stuff on 42nd street on bootleg and make a lot of money.’ This is my best thinking on drugs.”
Tyson later said it was the accidental death of his four-year-old daughter that changed his life. Since the tragedy, Tyson has dropped 130 pounds by going vegan, and is committed to being a strong family man.
After her death, “I didn't want to live anymore,” Tyson said in the interview. “So I said…I am going to change everything I dislike about myself. I changed everything that I was as a human being…I don't smoke anymore. I wanted to give up everything. I had to change my life."
