President Barack Obama, the First African American president heads home to Chicago today as he celebrates his 49th birthday today. 
Happy Birthday President Barack Obama!
The president's birthday celebration is not all cake and ice cream; he has a very busy schedule ahead of him while in Chicago. He is expected to tour the Ford motor plant in Chicago and take part in couple of fund raising events including that of Illinois' Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias. Giannoulias is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate seat once held by the president.
