After 9 months, the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF) has finally cleared Caster Semenya, 19 year-old, to compete as a female.
Last year the South African track star was requested by the IAAF to undergo gender verification test and ordered to be seen by five medical specialist in order to determine her actual sex.
Last month upon her returned to the sport, she ran and won two races in Finland. She is also expected to race in Germany at the end of August. The South African teenager is the world's 800m champion after winning in German last year.
