Google new 1,000 searched return images per page from www.Chocolatecity.cc
If you were to go to Google.com and type “www.chocolatecity.cc” in the search box and click “images” in the top left hand corner, follow by clicking “Search Images,” you will noticed that Google is now returning 1,000 images per page for the search results.
After eyeballing the returned images, I can easy tell that this process is in a beta stage because over 80% of the images returned are not from www.chocolatecity.cc.
According to Google's vice president of search products and user experience, Marissa Mayer, their image search hadn't received a major update since 2001.
Google is also saying that the new look is designed to reduce the number of clicks it takes to find the image you're looking for and to provide more information about a particular image without having to click through to the result. Around 10 percent of Google Images Search users are seeing the new interface at the moment, and it will roll out for the rest of its users over the coming week .
For me personally, Google latest image search changes seems to slow down my desktop running Firefox v3..6.7 browser. Additionally, the returned screen seems too over crowded and unorganized.
To those that have already tested Google's new 1,000 image returned per search results, what's the verdict thus far?
