In this country been in possession of property obtained by crime or knowing that the property was stolen is usually prosecuted as a misdemeanor or felony, depending on the value of the stolen item.

According to LeBron James' friend and business associate, Maverick Carter, James' gold pendant appraised at $10,000 was stolen three years ago and suddenly appeared on eBay auction for sale by Vaneisha Robinson.

Robinson, 19 year-old and an aspiring boxer of Akron, Ohio, told police that she purchased the No. 23's jersey pendant four years ago at a flea market for $5. The Wadsworth Police Department has named her as a suspect.

Robinson, who is shopping for a lawyer claims that James' marketing team tricked and strong-armed her into surrendering the the stolen item to them. "There was no serial number on that pendant so it's untraceable," she recently told a local Akron TV station. "That pendant is mine. It belongs to me."

On July 8, 2010, the NBA star made his decision to leave his hometown team, Cleveland Cavaliers to become a Miami Heat player.

At $44.99, his new No. 6 Miami Heat jersey is said to be selling like hot cakes. In term of sale, his Cleveland Cavaliers' jersey was ranked No. 2 on the NBA’s Most Popular Jersey List at the end of last season.

What would you suggest LeBron James do with the returned stolen No. 23 jersey pendant?
