Chicago Judge issued Arrest Warrant for NBA Player Eddy Curry

According to documents obtained from the Circuit Court in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois; Judge Alexander White has issued an arrest warrant in contempt of court against New York Knicks' player Eddy Curry, 28 year-old.

Curry reportedly missed a $200,000 hush money payment linked to his six-month sexual relationship with an underage girl when he was 18 year-old. Court document also noted that the 7-foot Chicagoland area native agreed to the $660,000 settlement in 2007, with a gag order on both parties. The past due amount is the final installment in a 2007 civil settlement between Curry and a then, 14-year-old sex partner who is now in her mid-20's. The consensual relationship started and ended in 2001. The lawsuit was filed four year after the relationship ended and immediately after Curry signed a very lucrative contract with the Chicago Bulls.

Curry was never charged criminally despite the girl's age, although the court documents did accused him of "criminal sexual abuse and battery."

Born in Harvey, Illinois; he was considered one of the best high school basketball players in the nation as a senior at Thornwood High School in South Holland, Illinois.

Curry has negatively manifested and attracted his share of health and financial problems. In early January 2009, his driver, David Kuchinsky, sued the injured star for $93,000 and accused him of making naked sexual advances. Less then a month later, his ex-girlfriend, Nova Henry, and their nine-month-old daughter Ava were found murdered in Chicago. Their three-year old son Noah was found unharmed at the scene. Frederick Goings, the attorney who represented Henry in her custody battle about Noah against Curry was charged with the murders. DNA later reviled that Curry was the father of Ava and not Goings, as he was lead to believed.

Despite a huge salary of $10.5 million last season, Curry has foreclosed on his home and is crying broke!
