Bush’s Ladies Break Ranks with Republican Groupthink

Former First Lady Laura Bush and her beautiful daughter Barbara Bush, 28 year-old have proven that they are two independent thinkers that do not need the Republican party to think on their behalves. From every indication, these talented ladies are refusing to subscribe to the Republican party groupthink policies.

While appearing on “Fox News Sunday" with host Chris Wallace, the Former First Daughter was asked whether she supports President Obama's health care reform plan. Her reply was: "I guess I'm glad the bill was passed." She went on to add, "Why do, basically, people with money have good health care and why do people who live on lower salaries not have good health care?" she said. "Health should be a right for everyone."

Barbara is president of the Global Health Corps, an organization that champions global health equity.

About a month ago, while appearing on Fox News, Former First Lady Laura Bush was asked to comment on the Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan. Mrs. Bush said, "I think it's great, I'm really glad that there will be three {women} if she's confirmed. I like to have women on the Supreme Court."

In an earlier CNN interview with Larry King, Mrs. Bush came out in favor of abortion rights and gay marriage.

I wonder what George thinks about the responses from two of the most important women in his life?
