Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul Opposes the Civil Rights Act

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul Opposes the Civil Rights Act
When I first read the editorial board of Louisville's Courier-Journal reference to Rand Paul as "repulsive to people in the mainstream," including "an unacceptable view of civil rights,'” I immediate assume that it was a misprint. Simply, because  no individual in his right mind would oppose or consider regressing the minuscule improvement this country has made towards addressing the rampant racial abuses against Blacks in this country.

Kentucky's Republican newly elected U.S. Senatorial candidate and the son of former presidential candidate Ron Paul is basically saying that private businesses should choice if they want to serve Black or African American. Mr. Paul is also saying that the 1964's landmark Civil Rights protection act against discrimination essentially amounts to the U.S. government over-reaching when they impinge on the rights of private business owners to run their businesses the way they see fit. Rand Paul is an ophthalmologist.
