The leggy supermodel Naomi Campbell
Campbell, 39 year-old, is in the news AGAIN for aggressive behavior. This time, according to the NYDailyNews, New York Police are looking for the supermodel for allegedly slapping and slugging her limousine driver, Miodrag Mejdina, 27 year-old of Queens as he drove her through midtown in a Cadillac Escalade.Mejdina did not press charges.
Campbell, according to the police was last seen wearing a black designer coat and running through the bustling streets of midtown. Police issued a harassment report, which doesn't carry any penalty. But cops still weren't calling off the search for Ms. Campbell.
According to NYPD Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne, "We're looking to talk to her. We anticipate that will happen." The Commissioner said Mejdina suffered bruising and swelling under an eye and was treated by the Emergency Medical Service at the 17th Precinct Station.
Campbell was born to an 18 year-old unmarried showgirl, and neither Campbell nor her mother have ever publicly named her father. Her father is of Black Jamaican ethnicity with part Chinese ancestry. Her mother is of Black Jamaican heritage. Campbell was raised in a working class neighborhood of London, and she was discovered by a fashion executive at 15 year-old while window shopping in London's Covent Garden. Her breakthrough as a model was the cover shot for Elle in April 1986, and she later became the first black model to grace the cover of the French edition of Vogue
