As a daily routine, I browse Google’s USA “Today’s Hot Trends,” to see what people in the United States and the world are searching for on a daily basis. Basically, With Google Trends, one can compare the world’s interest in his favorite topics.

So, how does Google’s “Today’s Hot Trends” works?

According to Google website:

Google Trends analyzes a portion of Google web searches to compute how many searches have been done for the terms you enter, relative to the total number of searches done on Google over time. We then show you a graph with the results. Located beneath the Search Volume Index graph is our News reference volume graph. This graph shows you the number of times your topic appeared in Google News stories. When Google Trends detects a spike in the volume of news stories for a particular search term, it labels the graph and displays the headline of an automatically selected Google News story written near the time of that spike. Currently, only English-language headlines are displayed, but we hope to support non-English headlines in the future.

As I searched Google’s USA “Today’s Hot Trends” today, I noticed that Tiger Woods’ scandal had the 3rd and 4th slots respectively on the top 10 list. The 1st slot on the list went to “custer s revenge” (I am not touching this one) follow by the 8th slot which caught my attention. The 8th slot reads as follows, “pleasure p molestation”. Marcus Cooper aka Pleasure P is a former member of the R&B group Pretty Ricky.

The title of Google Trend with Pleasure P molestation, caught my attention. After all, I admire his music. He is an immensely talented musician with great soulful voice. I immediately searched the blogosphere to determine why did he topped Google’s Hot Trend list. To my surprise; it was a negative allegation that is causing a bush-like -fire storm across the Internet .

Someone is accusing Pleasure P of being a child molester. The allegations are that Pleasure P had molested his niece, 4 year-old and his nephew, 3 year-old.

We have no proof of this allegation, nor have we seen a reliable source of the allegation. Could the molestation allegations be the works of evil lying charlatans?
