Republican Party Michael Steele Joins the Taliban in Condemning Obama's Nobel Win
Joining the Taliban, the African American Chairman of the Republican Party, Michael Steele, immediately issued a statement Friday saying, "The real question Americans are asking is, What has President Obama actually accomplished?"Mr. Steele, who took over the reigns of the party earlier this year, said he thought it was "unfortunate that the president's star power has outshined tireless advocates who have made real achievements working towards peace and human rights." Mr Steele also said he doesn't think Obama will be "receiving any awards from Americans for job creation, fiscal responsibility, or backing up rhetoric with concrete action."

According to the Taliban, “We have seen no change in his strategy for peace. He has done nothing for peace in Afghanistan,” Taliban spokeman Zabihullah Mujahid told the AFP.

“We condemn the aware of the Nobel Peace Prize for Obama,” he said by telephone from an undisclosed location.

When Obama was elected president, we were hopeful he would keep his promise to bring change. But he brought no change, he has continued the same old strategy as Bush.”

The Norwegian Nobel Committee countered that it was trying "to promote what he stands for and the positive processes that have started now." It lauded the change in global mood wrought by Obama's calls for peace and cooperation, and praised his pledges to reduce the world stock of nuclear arms, ease American conflicts with Muslim nations and strengthen the U.S. role in combating climate change. "He got the prize because he has been able to change the international climate," Nobel Committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland said. "Some people say, and I understand it, isn't it premature? Too early? Well, I'd say then that it could be too late to respond three years from now. It is now that we have the opportunity to respond — all of us."

Why is Michael Steele such a hater. He is appearing to be the new angry face of the Republican Party.

President Obama himself was surprised of his Nobel Prize award.

If Steele was the Republican Chairman during Dr. Martin Luther King nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, he would have also criticized Dr. King.

Veteran GOP operative Scott Reed, who ran Bob Dole’s 1996 presidential campaign, was happy to go on the record to criticize his party’s chairman. “He should not have done that and I gasped,” Reed said in an e-mail, “Michael Steele needs to remember that he is the chairman of the GOP, not a political analyst who needs to comment on every news story every news cycle.”

truly ,truly i say all people will never be on the same page at the same time which is unfortunate.Mr.President don’t stop being who God has positioned you to be,by condescending to the level of mediocrity. If anger is stirred by your level of doing the right thing at a slow but sure pace then as a former President would say BULLY. Keep focused God be with you.

Michael Steel is the latest in a long line of traitorsto the Black race, and like most traitors he is doing it for position and power. The Republican party knew that his greed would well suit their need for an uncle Tom to be their front man for their attacks against the President. The real irony is that Steele should be thank ing Obama everyday for his job!!!!

there will always be people who will dislike anything that president Obama does or will the awards he will receive. We still live in a world of hate and i honestly believe that if President Obama was a white man there would be no argument, even though these comments were made by an african american.
