July 7: Michael Jackson’s brothers carry his casket to a stage in the Staples Center for the singer’s public memorial.
Joe Jackson told the New York Daily News that the plan was finalized in recent days. On Aug. 29, the King of Pop would have turned 51 year-old. He was born the seventh of nine children to Joe and Katherine Jackson on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana.
On July 7th, 20,000 people including family, friends and fans of Michael Jackson gathered inside the Staples Center arena with untold millions watching around the world to remembered Jackson, whose immense talents almost drowned beneath the spectacle of his life and fame.
At that time it was speculated that his body would have been buried at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park immediately following the memorial but instead his body was secretly diverted to an undisclosed location.
The Jackson family has not issue an official comment on the Daily News’ story.
