Five gun shell casings were found on the scene from Kazemi’s recently purchased semiautomatic pistol. According to police, no drugs were found on the scene. Police said Kazemi’s gun was purchased illegally in the days leading up to the murder in the parking lot of a Dave and Buster’s restaurant.
The police further added that their investigation determined the murder-suicide by Kazemi, McNair’s girlfriend, showed no sign of struggle by Mr. McNair. Police spokesman Ronal Serpas of the Nashville Police Department said the former quarterback appeared to have been asleep when he was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest by Kazemi.
Police investigation also reviled that Ms. Kazemi was facing financial difficulties and was distraught after learning that the married McNair and the father of four had another girlfriend. Police believed that Kezima saw another woman leave McNair’s condo. According to police, friends of Kazemi reviled that she feared her rent was going to double because a roommate was moving out on her. She was also making payments on two cars and dealing with a drunk driving issue.
