U.S. Drugs Enforcement Agency Joins Jackson Drug Investigation

Sources close to Chocolatecity.cc is confirming that the United States Drugs Enforcement Agency (DEA) investigators are interviewing doctors who prescribed medication to Michael Jackson.

After the death of Jackson, the Los Angeles police and officials from the county coroner’s office were seen removing bags of prescription drugs and medical material from Jackson’s home.

It’s unclear how far along the DEA is in its inquiry but sources indicated that investigators want to know whether either Jackson ever procured improper or illegal prescriptions from doctors. DEA officials could not immediately be reached for comment.

There are no confirmations that drugs played a role in Jackson’s heart attack death last week. Results of toxicology tests won’t be ready for weeks.
