Sherri Goforth depicts President Obama as a Golliwog
When asked about the email, Ms. Goforth admitted sending the email, but she apologized only for sending it to the wrong people.
"I went on the wrong email and I inadvertently hit the wrong button," Goforth said. "I’m very sick about it, and it’s one of those things I can’t change or take back."
Also, over the weekend, a GOP official in South Carolina posted a comment to Facebook comparing the First Lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama to an escaped gorilla.
One should not waste their energy getting upset over the behaviors of these strange elements. Strangely as it may sound, they probably can not help it – its inherited. One have to understand that the inherited characteristics of racism that were transferred to some offspring of slave masters and lynchers will take sometime to become recessive.
To our white brothers and sisters, the reality is, this is not your great great grand father’s America. America is becoming a representative of all of its citizens and there is nothing you or any racist group can do about it. Get over it!

Just in case, Sherri Goforth did not know what President Obama looked like, all she had to do was to lift-up her head and she would have seen his picture on the office wall.
That is with the assumption that they do have his picture on their office wall since the senator’s office is a public (black and white) tax payers supported one.
