For most people, including males and females, there is absolutely no compromising when it comes to the appearance of their hair and the need to having it look elegant, healthy and stylish. As a matter of fact, a recent study just released by The Nielsen Company noted that if money was not an issue, most people would continue to care for their hair and spend more on it.

The report also noted, to maintain or enhance their looks, more than two thirds of the world’s consumers focus on taking care of their hair – in conjunction with a daily skincare regime and regular facial treatment. In the recently released report, Personal Grooming Nielsen surveyed 25,408 Internet users in 46 markets from North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East about their attitudes to personal grooming, what and how often they invested in beauty products and treatments, and what they would spend, and on what, if money was not an issue.

According to the same report, world’s consumers, having a bad hair day is simply not an option when it comes to looking ones best. Sixty-four percent of consumers invest in daily, weekly or monthly hair care, compared to just over half (53%) of those who follow a similar skincare regime.

So that leave one to ask the question, how do you find that perfect hair salon, hairdressers, barbershop, hairstylists, skin care specialists, estheticians, manicurists, pedicurists, shampooers, cosmetologists, or personal care provider that provide services such as shampooing, scalp treatments, facial shaving, cutting, coloring, makeup, scalp and facial treatments, cleaning and styling of wigs and hairpieces?

Do you ask around, ask your neighbor where he or she gets their hair done or find someone with a style similar to yours? Or when you move to a new area do you walk around the neighborhood looking for the best personal care provider? I don’t think so! It just doesn’t make sense in the year 2009. The reality is that all hair salons are created equal therefore the “hole in the wall” that services your neighbor down the street just might not work for you at all.

Hence, the web site HairNations.com was launched. The ideal of the site was originated by a woman that needed service in a new locality and just could not find a beauty salon to meet her needs. Necessity and not the need to make fast bucks is the true mode of invention. Yes, there are innumerable hair related web sites out there, but they are all just a clone of one another. You might ask, what sets HairNations.com apart from the 18 million web sites that are returned when one searches “beauty salon” on Google? Well, I am glad you asked.

The ultimate goal of the newly launched HairNations.com is to create a one-stop and a one-of-a kind web site to help you, the consumer, easily find that hairdresser, hairstylist, cosmetologist, barber, manicurist, pedicurist, or skin care specialist within any U.S. city. An outstanding, valuable and unique feature of Hair Nations is that it also has a blog section. Their blog section contains articles, interviews and reviews. You as a customer will give your feedback to help rate a personal care service provided that they you have used.

The most distinguishing features of Hair Nations is that it allows you to search by the products a salon, spa, nail spa or barbershop uses. It also allows you to search by community features (that is what’s in that community, cafe, restaurant etc.), Hair Nations also interfaces with Google map to show the driving direction and photo of the physical facility including actual photo of the street. Hair nation also provides the business’ years in service, numbers of stations in their shop, BBB membership status, if they accept credit cards and what type, provides information on first time client discount if application, what kind of parking service is available, the exact services the business provides, if they accept appointment or walk-in or both, to list a few of their outstanding features.

To be included in their outstanding database, HairNations.com is announcing a one time introductory and special stimulus rate of just $12.00 per year.
