Care to Share A Good Book You Read Lately?

Building Wealth by Lester C. Thurow

Lately, I have found some good book at either a thrift store, second-hand store, rummage sale or yard sale that I will like to share with Chocolate City blog community.

These books were purchased for as little as $.20 (twenty cents) and as hight as $1.00 (one dollar). My books were purchased in Chicago.

The title and author of my recently purchased used used and maybe used book are:

  1. This Incredible Century by Norman Vincent Peal

  2. How To Make Money In Stocks by William J. O’Neil

  3. Building Wealth by Lester C. Thurow

  4. Competitive Advantage by Michael F. Porter

I know of Dr. Norman Vincent Peal and Dr. Michael F Porter. I have read almost most of Dr. Peal’s publication except for two or three.

I was introduced to Dr. Porter during my graduate program. I do have a great deal of respect and admiration for both gentlemen.

I will be a great honor to do a Q/A interview with Dr. Porter for this blog. So, if you know Dr. Porter, please do the connection on our behalf. Also, if you know Lester C. Thurow, pass the word that we are interested in a Q/A interview. Although Thurow’s book is title, Building Wealth, it is clearly applicable to the current  global financial  situation. Thurlow’s book, published in 1999, is a must have.

Sound-Off:

Do you have a book (title/author) that you would like to share with the Chocolate City blog community and if possible include where it was purchase (city, state, store) and how much you paid for it.
