According to an audio posted on TMZ.com, legendary singer Etta James, 71-year-old, who is famous for the song “At Last,” told an audience in Canada last week, “You guys know your president, right?” “You know the one with big ears? Yeah, wait a minute. He ain’t my president.”
She then went after 27-year-old Beyonce: “That woman singing for him, singing my song? She’s gonna get her ass whipped.”
Beyonce beautifully performed James' ballad as President Barack Obama and the first lady, Michelle Obama slow-danced the first dance during the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball on January 20. About a year ago, the two women appeared to get along when Beyonce was playing a younger James in the movie Cadillac Records.
Some are suggesting that the comment which is uncharacteristic of the legendary star appeared to be alcohol related. This website, however, have no knowledge if James drinks or not.
