She then went after 27-year-old Beyonce: “That woman singing for him, singing my song? She’s gonna get her ass whipped.”
Beyonce beautifully performed James’ ballad as President Barack Obama and the first lady, Michelle Obama slow-danced the first dance during the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball on January 20.

Some are suggesting that the comment which is uncharacteristic of the legendary star appeared to be alcohol related. This website, however, have no knowledge if James drinks or not.
Spokespeople for James and Beyonce declined to comment.
