Sheila L. Agnew is the author of All About the Vets, a unique book that is a sharing of life experiences focusing on women over 40. As an entrepreneur in the Special Events industry for over twenty years, her experience in meeting, convention and event planning, decorating, marketing, promotions, trade show and exhibit management has provided her opportunities to travel across the country working with major companies and organizations. Sheila has been a mentor in programs that range from youth education to assisting aspiring entrepreneurs for several years. Her interest in issues that focus on women came about as a result of her travels managing exhibits for a hair care client at targeted events. A Chicago native, Sheila is currently a business consultant, earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Chicago State University and has received several awards and recognitions for both her creativity and entrepreneurial skills. She is most proud to be a mother of one daughter and grandmother to three beautiful children.

"All About the Vets was loosely derived by life-shaping experiences. Beginning in my late thirties, I was faced with making important decisions regarding my personal and business affairs that were critical in determining how I would move forward with my life. Making the right choices eventually propelled me into my forties as a free and spirited woman. Fast-forward several years, when my realization through circumstances brought about a passion to speak to women who would benefit from sharing experiences about the fabulous forties, fifties, sixties and beyond. These shared experiences speak about beauty, health, family, wealth, relationships, careers, spirituality and issues generally impacting women who have reached what I affectionately call the “Mo Better” years. The book is an encouraging, informative, educational and sometimes humorous book about women such as myself, in order to stir up a greater awareness of God’s awesome creation, YOU."

All About the Vets is informative, timely, enlightening, funny and serious. Most of all, it’s wonderful stories about beautiful women who have endured through challenge, change and adversity to succeed in spite of age. All About the Vets will make an excellent stocking stuffer for the holidays. Give a gift of inspiration this holiday.
