In a recent press release, Crystal Gayle Mangum’s manager announced that she plans to release a tell-all memoir entitled "The Last Dance for Grace: The Crystal Mangum Story," in October 2008.
She was enrolled at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in March 2006 when the alleged incident occurred and is reported to have graduated from NCCU last spring. Her aunt, Gennie Pettiford, confirmed that she was also at the graduation.
Crystal Mangum, an African-American, a former stripper and prostitute had accused three white Duke University lacrosse players of strangling, beating, and brutally raping her vaginally, anally, and orally in a tiny bathroom at a house party in March 2006.
Crystal Mangum plans to donate $1 from each book sold to help battered women. According to the book’s co-author Vincent Clark: "It is "the only definitive account of the life and struggles of the woman at the center of the Duke Lacrosse case, the alleged accuser," said Clark in a press release. " Were it not for the Duke Lacrosse Case, she likely would be described as a bright, young woman from Durham, North Carolina, who has had a difficult life."

I must be missing something. This article states:
“Crystal Mangum plans to donate $1 from each book sold to help battered women,” Does she think that we are stupid or is this some kind of dumb PR move?
That m*&%^$ f#*&% lied and is trying to project herself as a battered woman victim.
100% from the book sale should be contributed to the real victims and that’s the real victim, the students.
Are we expected to believe her second story? She must be out of d*&% mind!
Why doesn’t she start by making amend to those young men who lives she almost destroyed.
