Is Obama the trigger of McCain’s irritability and temper outbursts?

John McCain
John McCain
John McCain is not only a scary individual but an angry man who cannot be pleased. I could never imagine McCain as president of the United States. First, Mr. McCain begs Obama to travel abroad with him, then he begs Obama to 10 town halls meeting, about one a week between now and the Democratic National Convention, then he challenge Obama to take an international trip. “[I was] glad to hear that Senator Obama is now, quote, ‘considering’ a trip to Iraq,” said McCain. “It’s long overdue. It’s been 871 days since he was there and I’m confident that when he goes he will then change his position on the conflict in Iraq because he will see the success that has been achieved on the ground.” noted McCain.

As Barack Obama began his trip to the Middle East and Europe, the McCain camp, the media and the Republican party were already speculating about the possibility of a flub. Obama’s travel "carries political risk," the New York Times reported, "particularly if Mr. Obama makes a mistake."

Obama took the “long overdue” international trips including a visit to Afghanistan and Iraq, however, McCain still complains about the Senator’s visits to every country including his outstanding reception in Berlin which is second to none for ANY U.S citizen.

The fact is, Barack Obama looked and sounded like a natural leader in the role of potential U.S. president during his overseas trip, passing a big test in the battle for the White House and shaming John McCain and the Republicans that were anticipating a mis-step. Barack smoothly executed his debut on the world stage, frustrating John McCain, the Republican party, the media and disappointing critics waiting for a telling mistake that would highlight his inexperience.

Obama’s showed his foreign policy expertise and display his credibility as a possible commander in chief. To dispel his critics concerns, Obama met with foreign leaders, carefully navigated the hot issue of Israeli-Palestinian relations, visited U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and drew a crowd of 200,000 to his speech in Berlin, Germany which is more than what McCain and Bush combined will ever experience in their life time.

But the only foreign policy error made in the last few days came on ABC’s Good Morning America, when John McCain made another geographical gaffe while trying to criticize Obama’s visit to Iraq. Just last week, McCain repeatedly referred to Czechoslovakia, as a country that hasn’t existed prior to 1993. I am seriously starting to wonder about McCain’s so-called foreign experiences; especially his inability to distinguish the difference between the Shiite and Sunni.

Any doctor in the field of human behavior will tell you that examination of the underlying causes of irritability and temper outbursts is helpful in diminishing the frequency and severity of these behaviors. John McCain advisors should paid close attention to his signals, verbal or nonverbal, that when he is upset or wanting something, so that he do not get to the stage of exploding.

  • Weis says:

Mr. McCain is not being honest to himself, the mere fact that he could not defeat George Bush, what makes him think that he is capable of defeating Barack.
