Lil’ Wayne is not just your everyday rapper. He is also an entrepreneur. He has a six-sense to anticipate a niche and develop it. Lil’ Wayne is featured and have collaborated with lots of other outstanding recording artists. He have indirected promoted his brand by putting his trademark (synthesizer of his voice) on other people’s projects.

The charismatic rapper, Lil Wayne, began his industry as one of the Hot Boys, a short-lived Cash Money Records all-star group, and after establishing himself as a successful solo artist, who grew up to become a critical favorite, known especially for his entertaining underground mix tapes. Born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., on September 27, 1982, in New Orleans, LA., Lil Wayne grew up in the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans’ 17th Ward.

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III recently become the first album to top the one million sales mark during its first week in stores since 50 Cent’s The Massacre more than three years ago. It is also the first rap album to top the national sales chart since Jay-Z’s American Gangster held that spot in last November.

Obviously, Lil Wayne’s one million sales mark was not a coincidence. He created a need and a want for his product (CD). He mastered the business art of fulfilling a need, want and desire. He worked hard and made people anticipate his record more than ever.
