Lil’ Wayne a rapper and an entrepreneur

Lil' Wayne is not just your every ordinary rapper. He is also an entrepreneur. He has a six-sense that anticipates a niche and develop it. He is featured and have collaborated with lots of other outstanding recording artists. He have indirectly promoted his brand by putting his trademark (synthesizer of his voice) on other people's projects.

The charismatic rapper began his musical career as one of the Hot Boys, a short-lived Cash Money Records all-star group during which time he established himself as a successful solo artist,. He grew up to become a critical favorite, known especially for his entertaining underground mix tapes. Born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., on September 27, 1982, in New Orleans, LA., Lil Wayne grew up in the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans' 17th Ward.

Lil Wayne's album, Tha Carter III become the first album to top the one million sales mark during its first week in stores since 50 Cent's The Massacre more than three years ago. It is also the first rap album to top the national sales chart since Jay-Z's American Gangster held that spot in last November.

Obviously, Lil Wayne's one million sales mark was not a coincidence. He created a need and a want for his product (CD). He created a business and created the needs, wants and desires for his talent. Wayne has worked very hard and made his fan anticipate his music more then any other artist.
