Gaddafi: Obama fears assassination by Israel’s Mossad

Speaking before thousands of cheering supporters at a ceremony to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the departure of U.S. troops from Libya, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, on Thursday said that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s recent strong statements for saying Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of Israel are the result of his fear of being assassinated by Israel’s spy agency (Mossad).

Gaddafi claimed in remarks to Reuters that the Mossad was behind the assassination of former US President John F. Kennedy, who was killed because he was about to “look into Israel’s nuclear program.”

Referring to Obama as “our Kenyan brother”, Col Gaddafi also said Mr. Obama might suffer from an inferiority complex because of his African origins. The Libyan leader said this weakness will be a underlying theme if Obama becomes president due to his inferiority complex over being America’s first black president.

Israel claims Jerusalem as its “eternal, undivided” capital, but the Palestinians want the eastern half, occupied by Israel in 1967, as the capital of a future Palestinian state.
